To my silly wife.

5 months doesn't seem like a long time, and it sure has flown by. However, everyday since the first has been an absolute blessing and joy. We've had our ups and downs and everything in between, but it somehow seems like less of a crises or a bigger joy when i get to share it all with you. A life time is a long time and i couldn't think of anyone i'd rather share mine with than you.

To another 5 months (+ the whole rest of the life thing)
- your dorky husband.

4.) I've found that as the season has gone on, i can read people from across the way and tell who's going to come ask, what they're going to ask, and who's going to buy and who won't.
4a.) Its fun doing that.

5.) Seeing faire again is a nice treat, walkabouts are too rare.

6.) I has a new mug! It's full of the awesome!

7.) I enjoy the drives home, my talks with Megan range far and wide and cover some fun subjects.

2e.) Jessica, you were the go to girl if any random thing needed to be done, i never saw you without a smile on your face. Your awesome.
2f.) To the rest of our friends and families, thank you for showing up and spending our wedding day with us, we both appreciate it more than my words can say, and the memories will last forever.

2a.) One was drunk and had a pretty big realization, the other was a skeptic who had a pretty shattering realization.

3.) in reference to 2a. The second man mentioned was a loud mouth skeptic and thought my tellers are fake. After being told he'd just lost two family members, and a few other things, he left my booth claiming "that man touched my heart" over and over again, walked over and sat down on a planter and wiped the tears from his face.
3a.) My group of tellers are consistently a source of good vibes and advice.

4.) Frankenhenry has a 6" cod piece... and a ring to play ring toss on it. Its a jewel encrusted bad idea.

Dear Z;

I know i didn't know you all that well, but i owe you a debt that i can't repay in this life.

I remember the day that Kari came bounding up to me, eyes glittering with absolute delight, she's just shot her first bow and arrow, and hit the bullseye. Her smile said it all, and i couldn't help but snicker at how cute she was. She was so very proud and extolled your teaching abilities and hoped to come back to Faire this year and learn more and get better.

I am in your debt for the happiness that you've given the one who matters most in this life to me.

Hopefully when we finally meet up again, i can offer my sincere thanks and buy you a beverage of some sort.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tiny Adventures on Facebook

Dungeons & Dragons-mongers Wizards of the Coast have come up with an uber-casual version of the venerable role playing game that just might make it worthwhile signing up for privacy-siphoning office time-sink that is Facebook.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tiny Adventures is a Facebook app that lets you create a character, equip them with potions and weapons and them set them off on a (hey!) Tiny Adventure.

Your character will send you regular updates from your chosen quest, and because FB is a Social Networking site you can ask your friends to buff them up by throwing potions and other kit your way. Success in the various game events is determined by dice rolls modified by your initial choices.

The game server is down at the moment due to heavy demand, but should soon rise again, stronger and more powerful than ever.

i'll see ya suckers on there soon, we'll go pwning an orc or 6.

So, as most of you know, Kari recently had a doctors visit and basically got her issues diagnosed and was given medication and an outpouring of support and love from everyone out there, and for that i can't thank you enough.

So... A-Kon has come and gone. It always goes much much too fast.

1. Sacred Saturday was a good day for going to the Kon, we saw quiet a few people, Kitt/Tommy/Guillermo 1a. Dooooooooooooooode!

2. I can sell almost anything japanese candy wise... probably because i've eaten most of it.
2a. Same thing with that apple mineral water, that would be my desert island drink.

3. Unexpected thing is unexpected.
3a. Very good though!

4. Although i didn't get any of the wasabi doritos, i got some of the teriyaki cheetos!
4a. I'll sacrifice your first born for more.
4b. Their normal cheetos are a sweeter than ours, that doesn't make them any worse.

5. Applebee's is alright food.

6. I've had a good day job hunt wise, have had 2 call backs, and i have a phone interview @ 4:30, and a decent shot at another job.

1. Conditioning is a must.
1a. I know i can't be conditioned against everything, but conditioning against my biggest nemesis (the heat) is a huge must.

2. Being known by a character name is incredibly funny and humbling
2a. Being able to be found all the way across Faire by that name is even more humbling.
2b. Stepping into his skin is by far the most unique experience i've ever had.

3. I really need to find someone besides Cookie to be.
3a. I have ideas but the ability to articulate them into a feasible structure.

4. I know that quiet a few people want me to try out. I want to try out and become an actual part of this family.
4a. I've already set goals for myself, if i don't meet them, i won't try out. its incentive you see.

5. Camping is right out.
5a. You people who do it are nuts, that's why we love you.
5b. Hef, you make some good breakfest.

6. Its going to be weird waking up Saturday later than 6:30.

7. At first i didn't understand people at Faire (when i went the first time a few years back, i didn't even pay attention to them.)
7a. I now understand much more that those who do Faire, do it out of absolute love of the family and the fun that's had.
7b. I think one of the most intense memories i'll take away from this subject is speaking with a member of cast and him stating "I don't think i can ever see myself not doing this"

8. Being too much rock for 4 hands, and hearing about the rumors *wink* will make me chuckle long into the summer.
8a. As well as the T-rex.

9. Seeing people break down and cry at Parting Glass was rough.
9a. Not doing the same was even harder.
9b. Going up to most everyone and giving out hugs like candy is always fun.
9c. Walking back to the keep with my favorite gypsy and my favorite bar owner will always be a hallmark of this season.

10. Seeing people get awards they deserve is so awesome.
10a. Seeing the Corsairs for the final time was excellent.

I can say that years ago if you told me that this is what i'd spend my weekends doing and loving, i'd probably have called you just shy of insane. Now i can't see myself not doing this for all the weekends i can't possibly muster, there's just too much fun to be had, and too many things to toast.

again. i hate sunday.

today was all about relaxation - after baking on friday night in a tent, and then further baking on saturday in leather... the powers that be have decided that today was as it was orginally setup as, a day of rest.

I'll be at Faire tomorrow and all, so that's a wonderful thing, i have to remember to keep drinking stuff.

Off subject, i was going through really old LJ entries on another account, and realized that i was really blind to the obvious when i was younger... i figure if i'm ever that blind again, i just need to go live in a cave.

Also, the house is much cleaner, and most every bit of laundry done. I feel rather well about this.
